What to Expect in This ResidencyYou’ll work night shift (3 shifts/week) after orientation, building confidence and core skills through personalized training, preceptorship, and hands‑on learning with a team invested in your success.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Involve patients and families in meaningful care decisions
- Identify educational needs and document individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes
- Utilize patient safety tools such as SBAR and bedside report
- Complete thorough patient handoffs and maintain clear communication
- Interpret diagnostic and lab data confidently
- Support process improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives
- Complete certifications such as BLS, with opportunities for ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and other specialty certifications
- Serve as an advocate for women and ensure patient rights and confidentiality
- Participate in professional development, rounding, and quality initiatives
- Delegate and supervise care within the appropriate scope
- Uphold our mission, values, and service standards in every interaction
- Graduate (or upcoming grad) of an accredited Nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN licensure (or eligibility) in the hiring state
- BLS through AHA (or completion within 30 days)
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit needs (e.g., ACLS, NRP, C‑EFM, S.T.A.B.L.E., etc.)
- Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing & walking each shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, grip, twist, and squat
