Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Overview

Daytime Hours M-F and some weekends PART TIME WORK ONLY. Seeking PART TIME Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for Private in Home Care Provider. You MUST have a great work ethic and communication skills. Our screening process is getting stronger, and only applicants that are truly committed to client care and have integrity will be considered. If you are the person that calls out sick last minute, is late to shifts, or does not commit to these requirements, please do not apply.

Role:
Private In Home Care CNA — Help clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence care, and more. Assist with patient comfort levels and report changes in a client s condition to the RN. See "Responsibilities" below for more information.

Responsibilities
  • Work with your clients and build a meaningful relationship.
  • Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing and grooming).
  • Transportation (appointments, errands).
  • Provide companionship.
  • Meal planning and preparation.
  • Light housekeeping.
  • Medication reminders.
Qualifications
  • Mandatory CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Must provide proof.
  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home, hospital or professional setting.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Comfortably use a smartphone or computer.
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
  • Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screening.
  • Must have or be willing to get a current TB test.
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. without help.

In the simplest terms, a CNA providing in home care is a person who cares for another and has a heart to serve others. Our team members are the driving force for positively improving the lives of seniors in our community. They help clients age in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

Every client will have different needs, but we ensure to match clients and caregivers for the optimal fit. Care can include activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, eating, walking, bathing, and other self-care tasks. It can also include assisting with hobbies and activities that a client enjoys.
