Clinical Nurse Practitioner - GI Practice

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care in office and hospital settings, including patient assessments, procedures, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Examine medical records, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with patients and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on medications and health management, and perform history and physical exams.
• Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and complete required competencies.
• Take initiative, adapt to change, and assume ownership of responsibilities.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, active APRN license in Georgia, and BLS certification.

Skills needed are strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt and work independently or in a team.
