The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care per the department’s specific requirements and consistent with the scope and standards of practice. In collaboration with medical providers and other care team members, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values, supporting performance and clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assesses patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers; documents care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Responds promptly to patient requests, anticipates needs, and resolves them proactively.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery.
- Serves as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
