Job Summary
ESP is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Savannah Programs Team. The Program Coordinator’s role is to plan, develop, implement, staff, and review all programs that occur in their respective city year round.
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in planning and maintaining the quality of ESP programs and events for all ESP families. This position requires a passionate individual with a keen eye for safety and the ability to create transformative experiences. A team mindset and multitasking skills are essential. ESP's mission is fulfilled through fun experiences for people with disabilities, building a support community for their families, and providing purpose for adults with disabilities through meaningful employment.

ESP now operates four locations across the state of Georgia to provide year-round programming, summer camp, and family support to nearly 1,000 families, and we re growing! - Oversee the planning and implementation of all program events (Club Events, Summer Camps, Family events, SIBS programming and Soul Groups)
- Engage with community members to recruit new families, and assist with identifying new volunteers and Java Joy opportunities
- Create an annual programs calendar, ensuring a diverse portfolio of transformative experiences
- Regularly audit all ESP Savannah programs and ensure the “ESP way” and standard is being met
- Conduct New Family Meetings to new members starting with us
- Provide emergency family support as needed
- Manage and coach assistants, and interns during programs to ensure participants are properly cared for
- Communicate effectively with ESP Savannah families and assist them year-round with all family support needs
- Be a strong advocate for keeping the ESP Savannah building and assets in great condition, looking for ways to continually improve
- Assist with Java Joy events as needed
- Prioritize safety for our participants, families, interns, assistants and volunteers at year-round programs
- Creative and innovative programming skills
- Actively seek input and collaborate across the organization
- Meet daily needs and project deadlines while also being strategic and performance-oriented
- Exhibit strong time and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple events
- Lead the implementation of a successful intern training program
- Warmly engage with ESP families and stakeholders
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communications, with the ability to lead meetings, speak to community audiences, share ESP’s mission, and communicate with diverse audiences
- Work nights and weekends on a flexible schedule
- Proficiency in Google Suite and comfortable with technology and multiple management platforms
- Preferred history of planning and executing programs/events/projects
- A high quotient for hospitality and customer service
- Experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities not required
- Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000
