TRC Talent is seeking a strategic Paint Process Engineering Assistant Manager for a global automotive manufacturer in Ellabell, GA. Located in Bryan County near Savannah, this facility is a premier Electric Vehicle (EV) mass-production plant. In this direct hire role, you will lead production schedules and process monitoring, ensuring output aligns with demand through forecasting and operational control.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be a key architect of success at this innovative EV plant, overseeing cutting-edge paint shop operations and driving the efficiency of production.
- Strategic Leadership: Set and oversee paint shop targets (Units Produced, Quality Index, and HPV) to ensure world-class output.
- Process Innovation: Analyze production data to optimize productivity, improve car paint quality, and implement cost-reduction strategies (labor, materials, and energy).
- Facility & New Model Management: Lead the integration of new vehicle models, facility modifications, and the installation/trial runs of next-generation painting technologies.
- Team Development: Supervise, train, and mentor operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
- Investment & Planning: Review and manage supplementary investment items for process improvements and manage construction/trial run schedules.
- Safety & Environment: Improve the paint shop environment and proactively take action on safety regulations and accident prevention.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years of job-related experience, specifically within the automotive industry
. - Technical Savvy: Extensive knowledge of data analysis, production rate optimization (HPV), and Microsoft Office.
- Communication: Strong command of English;
fluency in Korean is a preferred asset for business communication with global stakeholders. - Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of external markets and a commitment to building rapport across manufacturing units.
- Compliance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
