Turn on your Island Charm... Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team.

The Latitude Margaritaville Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for supporting the Community General Manager (GM) in leadership, mentoring and the accountability of property leaders and associates while delivering The Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle to the residents. The Lifestyle encompasses high quality food and beverage service, live music, complex amenities, large events, fitness, theater, wood shop, pottery, sports and more. The AGM ensures residents are highly satisfied by leading the team to deliver excellent customer service, maintaining pristine appearance of all areas, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring efficient operation.

The AGM facilitates effective communication between departments to operate a large resort-style campus and Latitude Lifestyle events in the Town Center.

• Leadership
  • Daily planning, management, and oversight of the property in alignment with the GM.
  • Serve as on-site First Service Team Leader reporting to the Vice President of the management company.
  • Align with the GM in all areas of communication with above-property support, Regional F&B/HOA Directors, and developer senior leadership.
  • Keep current with industry concepts, practices, and procedures that align with the Latitude Margaritaville Brand.
  • Contribute to brand culture and resident experience by fostering a positive team atmosphere and maintaining professionalism.
  • Oversee facility operation of the Amenities including Bar & Chill, Association offices, sports facilities, theaters, and related management teams.
  • Review Resident Feedback via Eliant scoring, social media, and the Coyle Experience; formulate improvements with the GM.
  • Review employee feedback through Margaritaville Employee Survey and create action plans for improvement.
  • Interact effectively with residents and team, upholding high interpersonal standards.
  • Apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, draw conclusions, and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain a high standard of community appearance, hospitality, and service in all areas.
  • Lead onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Work with department heads to manage labor costs without compromising quality or service.
  • Maintain knowledge of governing documents, policies, procedures, and enforcement.
  • Ensure Property First and Second calls are being held and communicated to the team.
  • Conduct regular management meetings and track action items.
  • Communicate department meeting progress to the GM; manage key operational vendors.
  • Participate in the Nudge App.

• Partner with the GM to ensure HOA operates efficiently with high customer service standards.
• Be available to CAC, Maintenance, and Fitness Leaders for escalation of resident needs.
• Support Board Meetings and HOA/Amenity Annual Meetings in accordance with policies and governing documents.
• Assist Maintenance Manager in oversight of key vendors as needed.
• Maintain documented safety programs and handle emergency response with staff, residents, and guests.

• Support Lifestyle/Fitness Managers with promotions and resident-driven F&B programming.
• Assist in the execution of lifestyle and fitness events as needed.

• Participate in budget creation and presentation for all departments with the GM/Area Manager/HOA/Department Heads/Accountant; champion cost-control initiatives.
• Understand and report fluctuations in COS, labor, and related expenses.
• Understand financial goals and operate assets in the owners’ best interest per governing documents and guidelines.
• Monitor site delivery of financial outputs including receipts, inventory, cash, invoices, purchases, and reports.

• Maintain knowledge of property policies and enforcement.
• Provide leadership and direction to property employees with the GM to ensure adherence to policies and programs; assist with handling complaints.
• Handle HR matters per First Service Standards.
• Implement development and succession plans for leadership positions.
• Monitor schedules to ensure adequate coverage during high volume periods and holidays.
• Ensure adherence to Uniform Standards; assist with hiring and disciplinary actions as needed.

• Maintain a strong F&B program reflecting Latitude Margaritaville lifestyle and brand standards, including promotions.
• Partner with RGM to monitor F&B labor, COS, and expenses.
• Maintain a high level of resident contact during service hours.
• Comply with state and federal regulations on safe food handling and beverage service.
• Ensure appearance, hospitality, and cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Monitor onboarding, Brand Immersion, and training of new team members.
• Collaborate with Leadership to manage labor and expenses without compromising quality.
