Company Description
Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York.
We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.
Project objective
The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest, and public areas in the USA. The project involves cars with 360 cameras mounted on top that image the surrounding area and store those images on onboard computers. This data will be used to enhance one of the world's most popular online maps.
The data collectors will be assigned specific routes around public streets and areas, focusing on commercial districts and historical sites. Due to weather conditions, some areas may need to be revisited multiple times to ensure quality. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different areas.
The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area well, is responsible and reliable.
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week. Weather downtime may require weekend work.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Good driving skills and a clean driving record
- General car knowledge is a plus
- Enjoys driving during standard business hours
- Available for at least 3 months
- Private monitored parking space for the company vehicle
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Tech-savvy (familiar with Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet)
- High responsibility level
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to pass background checks (criminal and driving record)
