You are responsible for the entire linen lifecycle—from sorting to folding—for guest/employee laundry and all hotel linens
. Your efficiency and meticulous attention to detail are key to keeping the hotel stocked and running smoothly.
Essential Laundry & Operations Duties
Key Responsibilities Include- Processing: Operate equipment necessary to sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold, and package guest laundry, dry cleaning, employee uniforms, and hotel linen.
- Guest Service & Tracking: Log, tag, and package guest and employee clothing and uniforms with accuracy.
- Delivery: Pick up from and deliver to guest rooms and the uniforms room all clothing that needs cleaning or has been cleaned.
- Finishing: Iron and fold guest room and Food & Beverage flat work (sheets, tablecloths, etc.).
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain an acceptable state of cleanliness and organization throughout the work area.
- General Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards within the department.
- Housekeeping Assistance: Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
- Special Requests: Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.
