Hotel Front Desk Manager

The Hotel Front Desk Team Leader will have minimal supervision. This role is responsible for exercising independent judgment to manage the daily operations related to optimally operating the front desk. The ideal candidate understands, appreciates, and embraces our vision, mission, and values. You will act as a leader who is a self-starter and understands the position requires 24-hour availability.

• Training, mentoring, and supervising front desk staff.
• Communicate daily with team members as appropriate to maintain exceptional service levels for guests and within the team.
• Be present on the property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support team success.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and queries with professionalism.
• Inspect "back of house" areas to ensure brand and company standards are being met.
• Promoting and marketing the business.
• Perform administrative duties in the office such as correcting/confirming timecards and following up on assigned brand or operational checklists and training.

• Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
• 1–3 years of experience in a leadership role within the hotel or hospitality industry preferred.
• Expert-level knowledge of general hotel industry practices and policies.
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

$15 - $16 hourly
