About North Point Hospitality was started in 1978 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. We build high-quality hotels in popular areas. Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands.
We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.
The Front Desk Manager is a member of the Property Management Team. This role is responsible for assisting in the overall management of Front Office Operations, including coaching the Front Office staff, responding to guest needs and upholding the Guest Service Principles in all matters.
- Trains and develops front desk staff
- Strategically works with the Rev-Max team to manage room inventory and maximize revenue through strategic allocation and up-selling initiatives.
- Oversees transactions, billing and rate management
- Interacts with other departments to meet guest needs
- Ensures guest satisfaction and address concerns when needed
Supervisory Responsibility:
Front Office Staff
Office work environment with business-casual dress; may require some standard of uniform; extensive contact with internal and external customers.
Physical Demands- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, as well as to reach and bend. Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours.
