Club Overview
The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private luxury residential club on Skidaway Island dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle through resort‑class amenities. Located 12 miles from historic Savannah, our Club offers members access to six championship golf courses, two marinas, 31 tennis courts, 15 pickleball courts, eight bocce courts, ten unique dining venues, five clubhouses, five swimming pools and a 52,000 sq.
ft., wellness center.
Housekeeping Manager (WC) Responsibilities
- Greet and communicate with members and guests in a warm, courteous, and professional way at all times.
- Lead, supervise and coordinate all housekeeping, custodial, locker room, and fitness attendant staff across Wellness facilities.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve housekeeping standards, procedures, and cleaning protocols.
- Develop work schedules and staffing plans to ensure efficient coverage and high standards of cleanliness.
- Create and execute daily inspection plans; conduct routine inspections of assigned areas, including pools and Wellness Center facilities, to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate housekeeping activities in collaboration with Wellness leadership and other department managers.
- Oversee department hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Train team members on W.E.L.L. protocols and ensure adherence; update documentation as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts, order supplies, and maintain appropriate par levels while supporting departmental budget goals.
- Recommend and implement sustainable, safe, and biodegradable cleaning products and practices.
- Coordinate housekeeping support for special events, programs, and departmental needs.
- Communicate maintenance or repair issues to the Facilities Maintenance team through the work order system and follow up as needed.
- Enforce and model all safety policies, procedures, and departmental grooming standards.
- Attend weekly management meetings and participate in operational planning.
- Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities when assigned.
- Provide hands‑on support by performing or assisting with cleaning duties when necessary.
- Assume responsibilities of custodian, locker room attendant, or fitness attendant roles when staffing needs require.
- Cover shifts as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with all departmental and Club policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a custodial role, at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and give verbal/written instructions in English.
- Experience with OSHA safety guidelines a plus.
- Valid US driver’s license required.

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Use of cleaning equipment and supplies, which may involve exposure to chemicals.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift.
