Hotel Concierge

Job Summary

Our Hotel Concierges are stationed in the hotel lobby and work seamlessly with the front desk, providing excellent customer service to guests. An ideal concierge must have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience memorable, coupled with a sincere love of history and the culture of our city. The role includes effectively selling the appropriate tour package to guests based on knowledge of our products, pricing, and ticket package content to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet everyone you meet with a smile and prompt service, extending courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality.
  • Give every guest the ultimate compliment of recognition and attention, guiding them to the best offerings based on their interests while they enjoy the city.
  • Be knowledgeable and passionate about our products and the most popular things to do at each trolley stop.
  • Utilize exceptional sales skills, including a strong pitch, prospecting, handling objections, cross‑selling, upselling, and closing deals.
  • Present the cost of tours and attractions based on the company's pricing system.
Required Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Accurately handle transactions and receipts from sales, secure and maintain ticket inventory and company assets.
  • Work independently within established rules and regulations to satisfy guests' needs.
  • Interact well with all people while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Read, write and speak fluent English to communicate with team members and the general public.
  • Flexibility to work 3‑4 days per week from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Customer service, sales, or information center experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive pay: $15 per hour plus uncapped commission.
  • Paid training and ongoing learning about tours, attractions, restaurants, and everything Savannah.
  • Full‑time employees earn 2 weeks of paid vacation and 5 days of sick leave per year.
  • Choice of HRA or traditional healthcare plan (employer pays the majority of the premium). First‑Stop Health provides 24‑hr access to a doctor by phone or computer for the employee and dependents; employer pays 100%.
