Health Aide

Schedule:

Days 3x12 hours or Nights 3x12hours, 36 hours weekly

• Patient Care & Hygiene:
  Assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting), dressing, changing linens, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Monitoring Vitals & Clinical Support:
  Taking blood pressure, pulse, respiration, weight, and temperature, and reporting abnormalities to nurses.
• Mobility & Assistance:
  Helping patients move, walk, transfer from bed to wheelchair, and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
• Nutrition & Hydration:
  Serving meals, assisting with feeding, and monitoring intake.
• Safety & Environment:
  Maintaining a hygienic, safe, and organized room, disinfecting equipment, and following infection control protocols.
• Documentation & Communication:
  Recording daily activities, input/output, and reporting changes in a patient's physical or mental state to the nursing team.
• Support Tasks:
  Delivering messages, documents, or lab samples, and restocking medical supplies.

• 1 year of experience as a Health Aide or CNA or PCT in an Acute Care
• High School or Diploma
• BLS/CPR from (AHA) Certification - Required
