Job Summary
Provides training to new and existing employees within the Patient Accounts department. Develops a training program and keeps it current for Cirius, and Meditech. Is responsible for retraining existing employees on new information or procedures as changes occur within the organization. The training specialist is responsible for preparing course content, designing presentations and job manuals, job aids and other materials to ensure the trainees effectively learn the material.
The training specialist is responsible for reviewing and reporting monthly quality and productivity for all staff. The training specialist must communicate with supervisors and managers within the organization about employees and the training needs of their specific area.

Core Job Functions- Provides appropriate access for new co-workers. Resets passwords as necessary in a timely manner. Maintains files so users are removed if no longer needed.
- Assess training needs and to provide training to all co-workers, as needed. Maintains all co-workers training records up to date.
- Attend and participate in program specific training and educational opportunities. Maintain program specific knowledge of policies and protocols. Assist with training other staff as needed.
- Reviews quality and quantity activity using available reporting tools. Initiates appropriate co-worker counseling and re-training when necessary. Provides ongoing technical training.
