-$110,000 annually Position Overview
We are seeking a
Licensed Clinical Director
to lead and support our outpatient substance use programs, including
Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient Detox (OP DTX)levels of care. This full-time position involves both
direct clinical services
and
clinical supervision
of a team of therapists delivering evidence-based treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
The ideal candidate is a
Georgia-licensed clinician
with supervisory credentials (e.g., LPC-S, LCSW, LMFT) who demonstrates
strong leadership, clinical judgment, and a commitment to professional growth in others
, while maintaining the highest quality of client care.
Provide clinical supervision and oversight to therapists, case managers, and interns in accordance with Georgia licensing board standards.
Conduct regular supervision meetings, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, documentation standards, and treatment protocols.
Oversee the
clinical integrity and quality of care
delivered across all outpatient programs (PHP, IOP, OP DTX).Provide
individual, group, and family therapy
as needed to support client care and program requirements.Manage a caseload, maintaining professional boundaries and client engagement.
Review and approve clinical documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with GA state regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
Perform
regular and monthly chart audits
to maintain quality and compliance.Lead case consultations, treatment team meetings, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with program leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Active Georgia clinical license with supervisory eligibility (LPC-S, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent with supervisory endorsement).
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum2 years post-licensure experience
providing therapy in substance use or behavioral health treatment settings, including psycho educational and process groups.
Familiarity with PHP and IOP programs preferred.Experience supervising or mentoring clinical staff preferred.
Strong understanding of clinical best practices, documentation requirements, and regulatory standards (GA state regulations and TJC).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Proficiency in EHR systems (experience with KIPU preferred) and ability to ensure timely and compliant documentation.
