• Diagnoses and treats speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient based on current standards and guidelines of ASHA. Provides patient/family education to maximize swallowing and communication outcomes. Involved in program development and marketing.
• Provides diagnostic/prognostic evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognitive, swallowing and voice disorders per ASHA guidelines. Communicates effectively with physicians/staff/patients/families regarding patient progress, decline and behaviors as needed. Participates in marketing and research activities.
• Participates in marketing activities to support the Speech program. Maintains individual productivity according to department standards. Meets educational requirements for hospital and licensure/certification.

• Masters Degree - Required
• Experience:
  
  1-2 Years Clinical - Preferred
• License & Certification:
  After Clinical Fellowship completed, National Certification required within 12 months of filling this position. Professional License with State of Practice Required within 12 months of filling this position.
• Paid Clinical Experience temporary permits are acceptable to fill position, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
