PDS Tech Commercial is Hiring Avionics Electrical Technicians To Power the Future of Aerospace with A Leading Aviation Company!

Location: Savannah, GA |
Pay Rate: $32.19/hour |
Schedule: Full-Time, Weekend Day Shift (5am - 5:30pm)

Position

Purpose:

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking skilled Avionics Electrical Technicians to join our high-performing team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the precision, reliability, and safety of advanced aircraft systems — directly impacting the success of each mission and the satisfaction of our customers.

What You’ll Do:

As an Avionics Electrical Technician, you will provide technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems. You’ll collaborate with engineers, quality teams, and fellow technicians to keep projects on schedule without compromising on safety or quality.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation and functional testing of electrical and avionics components per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

  • Troubleshoot and repair avionics systems, ensuring all work meets rigorous safety and quality standards.

  • Execute engineering changes and modifications as required.

  • Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate system performance and reliability.

  • Accurately document all work performed and ensure readiness for inspection.

  • Support final phase and flight testing as needed.

  • Comply with FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety programs.

  • Adapt to evolving schedules and operational demands.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two (2) years of related experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.

  • FCC License.

  • NCATT Certification.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting additional aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental systems, or structures).

Pay Details: $32.19 per hour
