Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Prepare and review geotechnical investigation plans, laboratory testing programs, and engineering analyses.
- Oversee field investigations, site assessments, and construction monitoring activities.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff and project engineers.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 7–10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, site characterization, and geotechnical laboratory testing.
- Experience with infrastructure, transportation, or commercial development projects.
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Experience in proposal writing and business development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes.
