Job Summary

Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for leading projects through construction phases. Project types could include water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations, water / wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. Skillset shall include coordinating and communicating with the EOR, sub‑consultants, utility owners, contractor and other stakeholders performing office and field services during construction. They will also be expected to direct staff and perform client management activities to support our Water/Wastewater team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute the QA/QC program on wastewater, stormwater, and water utilities construction projects.

  • Successfully assist owner managing and delivering projects on time and on budget. Utilize internal Project Management Information Systems.

  • Procore experience preferred.

  • Present findings to Clients through effective oral and written communication.

  • Communicate effectively and coordinate with EOR, Contractor and owner.

  • Lead and manage construction administration phases of projects for owner including submittal reviews, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, pay application processing, direction/supervision of inspection staff, and change orders for ongoing construction projects.

  • Take technical and management responsibility of tasks and delegate effectively to junior staff.

  • Assist in preparation of client fee proposals.

Preferred Qualifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related technical discipline required. PE or CCM preferred.

  • 10 to 20 years of water/wastewater project experience, primarily focused on water infrastructure upgrades.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:

  • 7+ years as Superintendent with degree, or 10+ years withou

  • All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Certifications
  • OSHA 10 or 30 training

  • CCM a plus
