Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part‑time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Dance for the academic year . These positions are on an "as needed", semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate courses in the lower division, including but not limited to, Dance and Society.
- Teaching in various modalities (face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online)
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications- A minimum of a master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Dance or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
OR
- Professional teaching experience, along with at least seven years of professional experience in the field at the time of hire.
- A minimum of two years collegiate and/or professional teaching experience
- Experience teaching on‑line or hybrid courses
