(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Develops, organizes and implements comprehensive programs in the assigned college, department and/or unit. Responsible for preparing and organizing programs and activities. Promotes programs internal and external to the university and evaluates effectiveness. Ensures programs comply with university and USG policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Works collaboratively with affiliated faculty and staff to assess, pursue, and manage external grant opportunities, international partnerships, agreements, and grants sponsored programs in support of Global Education.
  • Works collaboratively with KSU Office of Research staff and contract grant writers to address pre- and post-award development and reporting requirements for both new and existing grant programs.
  • Manages program logistics for department initiatives, including contract negotiations with service providers and manages program budgets when applicable.
  • Conducts research on key program elements, including cultural components and program participants and guests, prior to program implementation to positively impact the success rate.
  • Oversees the student Global Ambassador program, in collaboration with Global Education program staff.
  • Required Qualifications

    Educational Requirements
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

    Required Experience
    Three (3) years of related work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred Educational Qualifications
    An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

    DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES*:

    • Knowledge and skills of the grant development process, including pre-and post-award development and reporting requirements for both new and existing grant programs
    • Hands-on experience with budgeting, planning, and scheduling
    • Able to think strategically and creatively
    • Knowledge of international programming and international education initiatives
