College Associate

We are seeking a College Ministry Associate who loves Jesus, loves students, and is eager to help college students grow as lifelong disciples of Christ. This role supports the vision and leadership of the College Ministry by helping cultivate gospel-centered community, meaningful relationships, and intentional spiritual formation among college students.

The ideal candidate is relational, teachable, and passionate about discipling students both personally and within the life of the local church.

• Work with College Pastor to care for students and service/support volunteer leaders
• Engage in discipleship and mentor relationships with College Girls and leaders
• Help maintain the overall spiritual health of college ministry as well as help the ministry grow in the areas of leader recruiting/training, strategic planning, etc.
• Participate in on-campus ministry/recruitment at local colleges

• Schedule, plan, and execute weekly ministry events for the College Ministry
• Utilize church software and approved social media to regularly communicate with students and update College calendar
• Respond to all connect card inquiries assigned to the College Ministry Department
• Other miscellaneous administrative needs
• Camp/Retreat/Events planning:
• Schedule, plan, and execute all College camps, retreats, and events
• Complete administrative duties specific to camps, retreats, and events (Secure facilities, travel arrangements, coordinate volunteers, meals, etc.)

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with him that models the biblical standards of personal conduct and lifestyle.
• Maintain an authentic walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession of sin, fellowship and serving.
• Be an active member of CBC of Savannah, growing in community with other believers.
• Model a biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle and commit to moral purity.
• Support and adheres to the mission, core values, and church distinctives of CBC of Savannah, including the CBC of Savannah Statement of Faith.
• Attend and participate all weekly staff meetings and worship gatherings.
