Job SummaryAs a student tutor, you will help peers deepen their understanding of a foreign language and improve study practices in lower‑to‑mid level language courses. Sessions will be conducted both on campus and via TEAMS.
Responsibilities- Maintain a consistent tutoring schedule and availability.
- Conduct sessions on the Macon campus and through TEAMS.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Maintain your own academic workload while working.
- Be dependable, prompt, and adhere to confidentiality codes.
- Treat all students, staff, faculty, and visitors with courtesy.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Currently enrolled at MGA for at least 6 credit hours.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- Position requires approval from the assigned language professor (Spanish, Korean, French). You must be a native speaker or enrolled in an advanced relevant course.
- Proficiency with computers and various software programs.
- Commit to FERPA confidentiality.
