Job Summary The Department of Computer Science within the School of Computing at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. This is a ten-month tenure-track position involving teaching, scholarship, and service.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate CS core and elective courses (see program information: https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).
- Teach day and/or evening classes; travel between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, and Warner Robins) may be required.
- Online teaching experience is required.
- Provide service to the institution and engage in active research and scholarly activities leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Required Educational Qualifications PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or computing-related disciplines.
- Other Required Qualifications Reasonable record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor.
