Overview

Verdant Enterprises, LLC is a small Landscape Architecture firm in Savannah, GA in our 30th year in business. We are presently looking for a landscape designer or landscape architect with an enthusiasm for native plants, creative stormwater design and a love of nature.

Verdant Enterprises is seeking an individual who shares our commitment to environmentally responsive and ecologically responsible landscape design. We believe that the most exciting landscape designs involve collaboration among our staff members, our clients and other design professionals. This position in our firm will offer you the chance to be involved in all levels of the design process from fieldwork and site analysis, to design development and construction detailing.

Our projects include a mix of high-end residential, commercial, and institutional work in the coastal regions of South Carolina and Georgia. We specialize in the use of native plants, innovative storm water applications and regionally specific hardscape detailing. We strive to design landscapes that harmonize with the surrounding ecology, and maximize the natural features, spirit, and history of each site.

Our office is in the heart of downtown Savannah surrounded by award-winning restaurants, bars and the city s famous 22 square parks. Savannah offers an affordable cost of living and a wealth of cultural activities as well as a mere 30-minute drive to the beaches of Tybee Island.

• BLA or MLA in landscape architecture (MLA preferred)
• 0-4 years experience
• Technical proficiency with AutoCAD 2024 and Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Experience in Adobe Design Suite (primarily Photoshop and InDesign)

• Familiarity with construction documentation & engineering
• Abilities in graphic design and marketing
• Skills in website design, hand illustration would be considered a strong positive
• Interest or knowledge of southeastern native plants is preferred but not essential
