Service Advisor

Overview

Service Advisor role n to apply for a position within a leading EV company focused on customer service and technical service support.

Tesla is seeking a Service Advisor dedicated to engaging with customers and internal teams. The role requires delivering exceptional customer service and developing technical knowledge in servicing vehicles. Team members should be passionate about supporting cutting-edge EV technology and advancing sustainable energy.

• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns, owning service visits, and creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Assess technical issues, explain service needs in understandable terms, and offer solutions when possible
• Actively listen to customer concerns, ask clarifying questions, and escalate to the Service Manager as needed
• Communicate effectively with Technicians and accurately document service details in the Dealer Management System with meticulous attention to detail
• Conduct transactions, guide customers through corrections, and summarize repair work performed
• Manage multiple appointments and priorities while maintaining organized records, providing prompt status updates, and ensuring thorough follow-up
• Build trust with customers by providing empathetic service and handling complex issues with patience to drive loyalty

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods, including familiarity with tools, materials, and techniques
• Strong communication skills to provide precise estimates, status updates, and technical information to customers in an understandable manner
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues effectively and develop timely solutions in collaboration with the service team
• Demonstrated patience and empathy when handling complex vehicle issues or challenging customer situations
• Superior time management and organizational skills to maintain accurate service records and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Dealer Management System(s), Outlook, and MS Office with a proactive willingness to learn emerging automotive technologies
• Valid driver’s license required
