Field Engineer

Myrick Marine Contracting Corporation is a long‑established and rapidly growing marine and heavy civil construction company based in Savannah, Georgia. I am seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Project Engineer
. This is an in‑person role at our office in Savannah, GA. College degree required, preferably in construction management. Basic construction knowledge is required but on the training job for the position will be provided. Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn additional programs are required.

• Technical Support:
  Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts to support field teams and subcontractors.
• Procurement Assistance:
  Support material takeoffs, vendor selection, and timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
• Budget Tracking:
  Assist in cost control by tracking expenditures, forecasting needs, and identifying potential overruns.
• Subcontractor Coordination:
  Communicate with subcontractors to align schedules, resolve issues, and ensure scope compliance.
