Construction Project Superintendent

Eastern Excavating Co. is seeking a full time Project Superintendent. The company offers a family atmosphere and is established in the Savannah, GA area for 35+ years. Our self-performed services include clearing, demo, grading, asphalt, concrete, underground utilities, and hardscapes for commercial and industrial projects. All work is local to Savannah, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of civil construction management or related experience

Ability to read & interpret civil plans and specs

Equipment operator experience is a plus

Construction layout and GPS machine control experience is a plus

Hands on experience with concrete and asphalt construction is a plus

Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and certifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus

Must currently live within commuting distance or being willing to relocate to the Savannah, GA area
