Who are we looking for?

Our Geotechnical team in Hilton Head, SC & Savannah, GA is looking for a CMT Technician to perform field observation, inspection, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, and asphalt pavement. You'll document findings in line with engineering best practices and building codes-helping ensure quality and compliance from the ground up. Join our Geotechnical Services Group and play a key role in construction and site development projects across the region!

Responsibilities

* Improvement/Innovation:
Accept changes at work and provide support when asked.

* Health, Safety, and Environment:
Follow a range of mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

* Performance Management:
Complete allocated work to the required standards of quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

What you will bring to the team:

* High school diploma or GED certificate

* Experience in field testing of soils, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and masonry preferred but training will be provided on the job

* Certification in at least one of the following is preferred: ACI, NICET, ICC, SCDOT

* Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities preferred

* Able and willing to travel and work outdoors at job sites
