Place Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Traveling Construction Superintendent for our Federal Division. The position will be based in Savannah, GA.

This position will primarily focus on supervising, inspecting, and approving day‑to‑day operations, attending preconstruction meetings, and providing closeout documents for Federal Division projects.

• Supervise, inspect, and approve day‑to‑day operations of Federal Division remodel projects
• Complete all required on‑site paperwork
• Coordinate construction projects with management, subcontractors, and PSI employees
• Represent PSI with professionalism and integrity
• Schedule, manage, and assist, as needed, subcontractors
• Set expectations of subcontractors and hold them accountable for results
• Complete reports and documentation required or requested by management
• Inspect and secure jobsite to prevent damage and theft
• Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety standards
• Establish sequence and manner to carry out work, consistent with Project Manager's direction, to keep the project on schedule
• Study, understand, direct, and perform based on construction drawings
• Prepare and document job meetings, safety meetings, reports, daily pictures & logs
• Be willing to physically work as needed
• Accomplish any other task that may be required at any time

• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring near‑perfect accuracy
• Team player with a “we over me” mentality
• Effective communicator, both verbal and written
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
• Eager to learn, grow, and bring innovative ideas

• 5+ years of federal and/or commercial construction superintendent experience
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specs
• Strong time‑management skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and photo upload
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, work Friday‑Saturday, and hold a valid driver’s license
• Work nights if required
• Quick learner capable of making educated decisions to maintain the schedule
• Manage both subcontractors and internal federal employees
• Communicate with clients and keep them updated with the schedule
• Identify and solve problems
• Manage actual schedule, including two‑week look‑ahead
• Lift 75 lbs. and lift 130 lbs. 12 feet with assistance
• Work outdoors in diverse environments and at heights
• Ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures
