The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing the coordination of product distribution to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency. This role develops strategic sales initiatives, analyzes performance metrics, and collaborates cross-functionally to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts to achieve and exceed established sales goals.
- Develop strategic plans to expand market share and increase revenue within assigned territories.
- Analyze sales performance data and market trends to forecast demand and identify growth opportunities.
- Establish pricing strategies and discount structures within company guidelines.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and customer agreements.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor customer preferences and industry trends to refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate with operations, accounting, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, credit applications, contracts, and proposals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings.
- Consult with customers to assess equipment or product needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist in developing sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance objectives.

This position may provide direction and mentorship to sales representatives and support staff as assigned.
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and regularly uses standard office equipment.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this role, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move items up to 20 pounds.
Position Type / Expected HoursThis is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.
TravelLocal travel is required. Occasional overnight or out-of-area travel may be necessary.
