Job Description

This posting is open to all current SCCPSS classified staff. Employees of local charter schools are not eligible for internal transfers. Job descriptions are available on Acorn.

This position is responsible for assisting and supporting school staff as well as customer service, to promote the efficient and effective operation of the school.

Reports To: Administrator

Qualifications
  • Proven ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions in a timely and accurate manner with attention to detail and the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact with employees and the public in a tactful and courteous manner, sometimes in trying and difficult situations.
  • Performs other duties as necessary for the effectiveness of the school or department.
Terms of Employment

Incumbents will be considered “at will.” Appropriate pay is determined based on the lateral move grade and step will remain the same. The work calendar will be dependent on the school level. The number of days of the work calendar by school level can affect your salary.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • It is shared between multiple incumbents in the job.
