Forklift Operator

Pay: $28.09 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential for night shift. Shift: 6PM – 6AM, rotating (2‑2‑3 shift), 36–48 hours per week with overtime available.

• Load trucks with finished sheet metal
• Load cut sheet material onto platforms for dispatch through the manufacturing lines
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to other departments
• Remove coil loads and other materials from trucks as they are delivered
• Transport unfinished and finished product throughout the plant and supply the production lines with raw materials
• Empty scrap tubs of metal waste
• Assist in taking inventory and prepare orders for shipment as needed

• Ability to demonstrate forklift driving experience and pass the certification test if not already certified
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing facility
• 6 months‑2 years of forklift driving work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment

• Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended periods, while running machinery up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
