As the Supervisor, Electrical Engineering
, your duties will include:

Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate assigned staff, including payroll accuracy, performance management, training, and staffing recommendations.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legislative requirements, and occupational health and safety standards.

Prepare and review reports, studies, and plans; support short- and long-term capital, operations, maintenance, and administrative planning.

Identify and recommend operational improvements and process efficiencies.

Provide technical oversight of engineering designs, work orders, and projects related to capital works, system extensions, maintenance, and replacement programs.

Review work orders, service applications, contracts, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate approvals and project activities with municipalities, utilities, authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Support procurement activities, analyze project costs, and investigate variances.

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Review municipal applications and oversee field investigations related to insurance claims.

Qualifications:

Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma with designation as a Certified Engineering Technologist (

Professional Engineer ( designation in Ontario is considered an asset.

Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing engineering or technical teams.

Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with Access, Microsoft Project, and enterprise systems (, Cayenta) is an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

Ability to plan, prioritize, assign, and schedule work effectively while working independently and taking initiative.

Must hold and maintain a valid Class “G” Ontario driver’s license.
