Night Shift Mid-Size Mechanic

In addition, we offer self-perform construction services including concrete, steel erection, carpentry, drywall and acoustical ceilings and an in-house AWI Certified mill shop.

We are looking for full-time Mid-Size Mechanic for theNew Lock at the Soo Project located in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. This individual will perform maintenance on mid-size construction equipment, pick-up trucks, UTVs, gasoline and diesel driven tools, welding machines zá generators, air compressors, etc.

• Diagnose issues with diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Keep detailed records of work done
• Work off schematic to look up parts needed for maintenance
• ്വ make sure equipment is job ready every day
• Keep a clean and safe workplace
• Assist heavy-equipment mechanic as needed

• 1-3+ years mechanical experience and aptitude in construction equipment
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Night shift, Monday through Friday 5:30pm to 5:30am and Saturday 3:30pm to ~1:30am.
• Must have clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in quality work
