Your ImpactWe are seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide prompt, courteous customer service and sales support for the company. This person serves as the liaison between the customer (think business to business accounts) and the company and performs general customer service and sales operations tasks to support the company and project a professional image through in-person, phone, and email interaction. Qualified candidates must possess strong customer service skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, math/accounting skills, and can work independently as well as in a team environment.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Process customer orders received via email, website, EDI or other PO forms.
- Review product price and availability and orders in the company ERP system (Microsoft D365 platform).
- Create customer accounts for new customers in Microsoft D365 and daily entry of customer orders.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and update customer records as necessary.
- Answer phones/email and direct and/or respond to customer inquiries accordingly.
- Assist in documenting and handling customer complaints and or warranties.
- Communicate with off-site warehouse regarding ship dates, freight charges, follow-up and track orders.
- Manage and process customer returns or credits.
- Perform general clerical and support duties.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, communications, finance or related field preferred. 2+ years of customer service or account representative experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft D365 is highly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs including Excel.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, attention to detail and prioritize work.
- Strong Math/Accounting skills.
- Efficiently define, analyze and resolve issues by breaking them down, and utilize resources to investigate and solve the problem.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with team members, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Self starter, takes initiative and has excellent time management.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets to drive strategic decision making.
