What You'll Actually Do- Master Insurance Verification: meticulously verify coverage before services are provided, prevent claim denials, and maximize revenue capture.
- Excel at Financial Counseling: confidently explain costs, billing processes, and insurance complexities to patients.
- Solve Billing Problems: proactively identify and resolve insurance discrepancies and billing issues.
- Drive Patient Satisfaction: deliver exceptional service during difficult financial conversations.
- Be the Face of AFC: greet patients warmly and professionally.
- Own the Front Desk Flow: process payments, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins efficiently.
- Protect Patient Information: maintain organized records while strictly following HIPAA regulations.
- You have experience with insurance verification and medical billing.
- You can explain complex insurance concepts to frustrated patients with empathy and clarity.
- You're obsessively detail-oriented – a single digit error in an insurance cost thousands.
- You’ve worked as a Medical Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or in any Customer Service role in a medical office setting.
- You’re tech-savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and can find billing solutions that work for both patients and the clinic.
- You maintain a positive attitude even when dealing with challenging financial conversations.
- Develop highly marketable skills in medical billing and insurance.
- Receive specialized training in insurance verification and patient financial counseling.
- Make a dual impact: help patients navigate costs while ensuring the clinic remains financially healthy.

Full-time with flexible shifts (evenings/weekends a must) - Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred; X‑Ray Tech, Medical Assistant or related certification is a plus
- Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
