To support our growing business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial and accounting processes.
KeyAccountabilities Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure accurate entry and monitoring of accounting transactions (invoices, payments, journal entries) and support smooth month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare and submit tax and social security declarations in cooperation with external accounting partners in line with local legislation and internal policies.
- Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for group consolidation.
- Review and reconcile accounts, analyse discrepancies, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Prepare accounting documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal obligations, and group policies, including application of IFRS 16.
- Act as primary liaison with banking partners to support accurate payroll transmission and financial processing, including reporting to the Wage Protection System (WPS).
- Manage and monitor operational contracts (e.g., vehicle fleet, utilities, insurance) ensuring accurate documentation and timely renewals.
- Serve as the key interface between Finance and internal departments to support operational needs and reporting requirements.
- Support cross-functional collaboration by providing reliable financial information for business decision-making.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Registered with SOCPA.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Experience working in an international environment or group reporting structure.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 and local GAAP standards.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Solid experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Proven track record of liaising with external accounting and payroll providers.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and good working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
