What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direction to payroll staff to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Identify control weaknesses and implement process improvements
- Oversee the distribution of paychecks and ensure compliance with payroll processes
- Participate in the selection of qualified departmental personnel and recommend personnel actions
- Monitor performance of direct reports, providing coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of DOL and FLSA, and state payroll regulations
- 8+ years of experience in a large payroll processing environment
- 8+ years of experience with payroll processing for multiple states and multi-location payroll
- 5+ years of management and leadership experience
- Working experience with payroll tax processing, 401k, and LTI plans
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with ex-pat payroll processing and related activities
- Knowledge of Workday and Time Hub systems
- Familiarity with relocation activities and deferred compensation
