Primary PurposeTo analyze and evaluate a broad spectrum of disparate nuclear collection, measurement, and laboratory analysis data and to plan, execute, analyze and evaluate highly complex scientific studies in support of the Nuclear Debris Collection and Analysis (NDC&A) and National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) materials missions.
Duties- Duty 1 - Technical expert in analyzing and evaluating nuclear data performing work requiring expert-level professional knowledge of radiochemistry processes and procedures, radiological measurements, nuclear data assessments, and data quality assessments.
- Duty 2 - Designs, plans, administers and analyzes quality assurance nuclear assessment tests throughout the squadron laboratory system.
- Duty 3 - Technical expert for oversight of research and development into new laboratory processing and analysis methods designed to improve existing capabilities or increase the number of nuclides that are part of the operational inventory with appropriate QA/QC procedures.
- Duty 4 - Writes and coordinates on technical requirements for new collection and analysis acquisition programs. Reviews and approves test procedures to ensure automated fielded systems include adequate system calibration.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

- Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Shift work and emergency overtime may be required.
- Employee must maintain current certifications.

- Leave accrual may be authorized upon request.

- May be required to work irregular duty hours.
- May be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
