To analyze and evaluate a broad spectrum of disparate nuclear collection, measurement, and laboratory analysis data and to plan, execute, analyze and evaluate highly complex scientific studies in support of the Nuclear Debris Collection and Analysis (NDC&A) and National Technical Nuclear Forensics (NTNF) materials missions.

• Duty 1 - Technical expert in analyzing and evaluating nuclear data performing work requiring expert-level professional knowledge of radiochemistry processes and procedures, radiological measurements, nuclear data assessments, and data quality assessments.
• Duty 2 - Designs, plans, administers and analyzes quality assurance nuclear assessment tests throughout the squadron laboratory system.
• Duty 3 - Technical expert for oversight of research and development into new laboratory processing and analysis methods designed to improve existing capabilities or increase the number of nuclides that are part of the operational inventory with appropriate QA/QC procedures.
• Duty 4 - Writes and coordinates on technical requirements for new collection and analysis acquisition programs. Reviews and approves test procedures to ensure automated fielded systems include adequate system calibration.

• All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

• Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Shift work and emergency overtime may be required.
