• Provides comprehensive professional nursing services of an advanced nature requiring critical thinking skills.
• Assist clinic with patient and staff education.
• Screens and prioritizes encounters based on the patient’s condition and preferences.
• Assists providers with procedures and treatments.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires Basic Life Support (BLS) training certification from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross.
• Current Advanced Life Support or other advanced certification does not supersede Basic Life Support completion.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster)...
• the incumbent may be required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions in a state or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia ...
• and participate in continuing education programs to update and/or maintain skills and knowledge to meet annual requirements for the state of licensure.
• Required to be screened for and obtain necessary immunizations/vaccinations (hepatitis, influenza, etc.), unless exempted by a licensed physician.
• This position is a drug testing position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
• Applicants tentatively selected for appointment to this position will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations.
