Must be willing to serve and deliver the Child and Family Services to the community of Witchekan Lake First Nation. The family support worker will work under the direction of the Prevention Supervisor and will provide in home support to families under the care of the organization. Support provided will focus on the development of safe and healthy parenting practices as the Family Support Worker works alongside families to teach essential parenting skills.
The Family Support Worker will also work with families to establish parent and family-oriented goals, providing referrals and information regarding community support as necessary. This individual is expected to be knowledgeable in parenting and family dynamics and will work as a professional and non-judgmental agent of the organization.
