We are seeking an Inclusion Consultant to fill a 12‑month temporary position. This position reports to the Manager of Supports and will be based out of either Saskatoon or Prince Albert.

The Inclusion Consultant provides support to people with an intellectual disability and/or neurodivergence, their families, and support circles throughout Saskatchewan. Inclusion Consultants provide both individualized support as well as support systemic change initiatives to work toward INSK’s mission.

Duties

Provides both individualized support and systemic advocacy.

Provides support and/or advocacy based on person-centered practices and supported decision-making.

Complies with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Researches and writes briefs, reports, and updates on systemic issues as assigned, using appropriate methods.

Participates in systemic advocacy initiatives as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences or a related field, including but not limited to Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a Diploma or Certificate in Human and Social Sciences, such as Child Development, Rehabilitation, Human Justice, etc.

Research and advocacy experience.

Travel throughout the province is required.
