The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
We have full-service shops where our Heavy Equipment Technicians and Trailer Techs are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our fleet of transport trucks and trailers.
We are looking for ALL levels of apprentices of both truck and trailer Technicians
Total Compensation:
In addition to very competitive rates including shift premiums for both licensed and apprentice techs, we offer our apprentices WAGE CONTINUANCE including tuition and textbook reimbursement for attendance at technical school.

Depending on skill level and experience you will be exposed or trained on:
Interpreting work orders and technical manuals, performing scheduled preventative maintenance services, diagnosing faults or malfunctionsAdjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems on truck and trailersOperating oxy-acetylene torches or perform minor welding repairs (non-code work)Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulationsCompleting service repair orders and bill out all parts used on repair orderAbility to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekendsWe are committed to building and supporting a diverse and inclusive culture where ALL employees and partners feel valued and appreciated for their uniqueness and contributions.
