Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Maintain excellent customer serviceUse safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff and customersComplete service reportsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements to plan layouts or welding process specificationsOperate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc
welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded
metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)Utilize manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brazing and soldering equipmentWork with metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, power hammers and other metal machinesRepair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layersFabricate, manufacture and repair metal structures, tools, and equipment as neededAssess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errorsTake accurate measurements and testing welded surfaces where requiredWeld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsMonitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperatureMaintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipmentSkills and
Qualifications:
Recognize the importance of providing quality workmanshipJourneyman/woman Certification (must have experience)Experience with trailers and/or agricultural implements an assetAbility to perform mechanical repairs and new assembly when not weldingExperience with Mig and StikAbility to safely lift, push, pull or carry heavy products up to 55lbsCapable of prioritizing activities, adaptable and focusedA positive “can do” attitude and work well with othersGood communication skills and willingness to help out other team membersClean drivers abstract and clean criminal recordHave a great work ethicIf you are a positive “go-getter” who feels that you’d be a great addition to our team, and you share in our belief of “People working together, Doing what is right, Making a difference”,
