Jardeg is recruiting for a Heavy Duty Mechanic for upcoming work at the Saskatoon shop and yard, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
. The schedule for this position is 5 days on, 2 days off, day shift, 8‑10 hours per day. No LOA or Travel offered. Candidates local to the Saskatoon area will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on maintenance and repairs of all equipment including loaders, excavators, skid steers, lifting equipment such as zoom booms, etc.
• Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds.
• Replacing components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Preventive maintenance and services.
• Complete work according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Work closely with customers maintenance and operations personnel.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations.
• Complete service reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Ticket.
• A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment.
• WHMIS 2015.
• Telehandler considered an asset.
• Skidsteer considered an asset.
• Zoom Boom considered an asset.
