What you will do
As a Sales Representative, you will plan, direct, and coordinate the selling of Stryker products (specifically Stryker's Neurosurgical, ENT & IVS portfolios) to physicians in accordance with budgeted objectives and to obtain maximum profitability and volume in relation to pre-set standards. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Instruments sales team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.
Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker’s Neurosurgical, ENT & IVS products as assigned by sales managerEducates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Interventional Spine productsDirects product evaluations in operating rooms, hospitals, and office settingsMay assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetingsAssist in Request for Proposal (RFP) related activities and contract negotiationSolves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashionMay assist in the training and development of associate sales personnelHas authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activitiesWhat you need
Required:
University Degree2+ years outside sales or clinical experiencePreferred:
Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology2+ years in Medical Device SalesAdditional Information:
Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligationsInternal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be consideredMust have a valid driver’s licenseTravel Percentage: 50%
