Position: Part-Time (Student) Bakery Clerk I
Location: North Battleford

Discovery Co-operative is hiring a Part‑Time Student Clerk I in our Bakery Department for our Food Store located in North Battleford, SK.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer‑focused service in our Battleford Department.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities of a cashier.
  • Maintain shelf label information, prices & PLU codes and best‑before codes for all merchandise.
  • Assist with receiving, pricing and displaying of merchandise.
  • Receive all products in accordance with Discovery Co‑op policies and procedures. All received goods should be inspected to ensure quality and completeness of the order.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Who you are:
  • Must be under age 18 and actively attending high school and registered in class or classes.
  • If ages 14 or 15, must have completed the Young Worker Readiness Certificate.
  • Food Safe Handling Certificate would be an asset.
  • Must be capable of lifting to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results‑oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
