Job Role - Site Material Coordinator
Location - North America
Contract Length - 12 months

The Site Material Coordinator is responsible for managing the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to contractors and the team on-site. This role includes overseeing inventory, selecting material sources, and ensuring timely delivery to the construction site or production area.

• Act as the main contact for all material-related inquiries on-site.
• Work with other managers to determine material needs.
• Supervise receiving and storage procedures.
• Coordinate the distribution of materials on site.
• Keep accurate records of material turnover and inventory.
• Order materials from local providers or a central warehouse based on needs.
• Assist the team in finding references in material lists and drawings.
• Track and report on the delivery of materials to the site.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
• Oversee material handovers to contractors.
• Ensure materials handling meets health and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections to identify hazards and eliminate risks.
• Follow best practices for storage and inventory control.
• Manage the site's material and supply budget.

• Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical and electrical terms.
• Strong organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
• Ability to use MS Office Suite and other tools.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others
